Frequently Asked Questions
How long is the first appointment?
Your initial appointment, or intake session, typically lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This allows us enough time to get to know you, understand your needs, and discuss a potential path forward.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Please bring your photo ID, insurance card (if applicable), and any completed intake forms you received beforehand. If you have a list of current medications or past treatment records you'd like to share, that can also be helpful.
Is what I share confidential?
Yes, your privacy is paramount. Everything you share with your therapist or psychiatric provider is confidential, with a few legal exceptions designed to protect your safety and the safety of others, which will be explained to you.
How do I schedule or reschedule an appointment?
You can schedule your first appointment by calling our office or using our online booking portal. To reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance if possible.
